LAN Transformers ✉ are also known as network isolation transformers. It plays two main roles in a network interface. One is data transmission. It enhances the differential signal sent out by PHY by coupling the differential mode coupled coil to filter the signal, and coupling to the other end of the connecting network cable with different levels through the conversion of electromagnetic field. One is to isolate the different levels between different network devices connected by the network line to prevent different voltage transmission through the network cable damage equipment.
It is mainly used in the network switch, router, network card, hub inside, play the signal coupling, high voltage isolation, impedance matching, electromagnetic interference suppression and other functions.
